Community organisations in Leichhardt, which includes the Douglas Shire, now have the chance to share in $150,000 worth of funding for projects which will help them improve their offering and deliver social benefits in communities across the region.

Member for Leichhardt Warren Entsch is calling for expressions of interest in the Stronger Communities Grants of projects between $2,500 and $20,000.

“The Stronger Communities Program has been extremely successful and now Round 6 provides a great opportunity for those organisations to get a funding injection to help them achieve their goals.”

“I want to encourage every not‐for‐profit in Leichhardt to look at this funding program.”

Organisations must request an expression of interest form by emailing: [email protected] and are to be submitted back to the office by 28 February 2021.
