Queensland Ambulance Services provide a daily round up of their activities across the state

Douglas – single-vehicle crash

Paramedics assessed two patients at the scene of a single-vehicle crash on Angus Smith Drive at 12.45am. A male in his 20 was transported to Townsville University Hospital in a serious but stable condition with back and pelvic injuries and sadly a second patient a male in his 20s died at the scene.

Dotswood – single-vehicle rollover

A male in his 20s was transported to Charters Tower Hospital in a stable condition with following a single-vehicle rollover on Flinders Highway at 12.33am.

Tinana – single-vehicle crash

Paramedics transported a female in her 20s to Hervey Bay Hospital in a serious but stable condition with abdominal, leg and pelvic injuries following a single-vehicle crash on Teddington Road at 12.09am.

Harristown – single-vehicle crash

Paramedics transported a male patient to Toowoomba Hospital a stable condition following a single-vehicle crash on Stephen Street at 10.30pm.

Mermaid Waters – single-vehicle rollover

A male in his 20s was transported to Gold Coast University Hospital in a stable condition following a single vehicle rollover on Southerly Street at 10.25pm.

Guthalungra – motorcycle incident

Paramedics treated two patients following a single motorcycle incident on Wally Sproule Road at 9.06pm.

  • A female in her 30s was airlifted to Townsville University Hospital in a serious but stable condition with neck and leg injuries.
  • A female in her 50s was transported by road to Townsville University Hospital stable with chest and arm injuries.

Buaraba – single-vehicle rollover

A female patient was transported to Toowoomba Hospital in a stable condition with head and arm injuries following a single-vehicle rollover on Gatton Esk Road and Mount Mulgowie Road at 7.24pm.

Calen – snake bite

Paramedics transported a female in her 50s to Mackay Hospital in a stable condition following a reported snake bite to the leg at a private address at 6.34pm.

Acacia Ridge – alleged wounding

Paramedics transported a male patient to Princess Alexandra Hospital in a serious but stable condition with a leg injury following an alleged wounding at a private address at 6.17pm.

Ascot – e-scooter incident

A female teenager was transported to Royal Brisbane and Women’s Hospital in a stable condition with a head injury following an e-scooter incident on Racecourse Road at 5.57pm.

Alexandra Headlands – post immersion

Paramedics, including critical care transported a teenage male to Sunshine Coast University Hospital in a stable condition following a post immersion incident. He was reportedly caught in a rip in waters off Alexandra Parade at 5.56pm.

Clontarf – shed fire

A male in his 40s was transported to Royal Brisbane and Women’s Hospital in a stable condition with burns to his hands following an industrial shed fire at a location on Grice Street at 5.32pm. QAS remained on standby for other emergency services for the duration of the fire.
