A number of businesses have jumped on board to sponsor junior Crocs players.

A Port Douglas real estate company has shown its generosity and warm community spirit after it recently pitched in to provide fundraising support for a junior sporting club.

Under the new fundraising initiative, Ray White has jumped on board to sponsor junior Crocs players Kobe Saxon and Cooper Jones through its ‘local faces supporting local names’ scheme.

Other Douglas businesses have also thrown their support behind the concept with Happy Pools, sponsoring Zayne and Zac Moore, while Kye Chapple Pest Control is supporting Maddox Hunt.

Other local businesses are encouraged to get behind the initiative and sponsor other junior players.

Meantime Ray White also provided the main prize for the junior club’s biggest fundraiser of the year – its monster ANZAC Day raffle, which was two nights at Sea Temple.

A host of other Douglas businesses such Quicksilver, Reef Sprinter, Great Northern Tilers, also contributed prizes for the draw.

Ticket earnings from the monster draw are split between the club and the Mossman RSL.
