Throughout the late 90s and early 2000s Australian sport regularly supported an Aussie tennis hero affectionately known as “our Pat”.

Whether he was demonstrating his exceptional serve and volley abilities, renowned on court sportsmanship or just endearing himself to Aussie sports fans, Pat Rafter was one of the most liked and adored athletes during this time.

In a rare video interview Pat Rafter spoke to Newsport editor Michael Warren about his most underestimated opponents, the fine line between success and failure, his biggest strengths, a winning mindset and much more.
