Stop the illegal camping in the sports complex where the campers feed them Leave them alone this is just cruel

Randall Lieshcke

No mention of doing anything about the illegal camping along Mudlo Street. This is where the problem began when the dingo pups were being fed.

Luke Cooper

I have dna from region they are pure and on my petition and page over a thousand signatures. Things will change very soon for our dingoes.

Richard Eussen

As they should be, they don't mix with people and their pets and have no place in the

suburbs.

Donna Woods

The last one they killed hadn’t even done anything bad had it?

Richard Thierauf

Are they hurting anyone?

Juliette Oakes

Will need dingoes to hunt an increase of rats we’re going to have amongst the cane not being farmed. Messing with the order. Educate people, not to approach, not to feed and to contain their bins. Things will improve.

Steve Pollard

Urban Dingoes have to go but urban crocodiles get to stay it's a double standard.

Keitha Schaedler

And this on the day that animal welfare pioneer, Jane Goodall, passed. Sigh. The lack of true community consultation, dealing with a contributing cause to the issue (illegal campers and others feeding them), and hiding behind semantics ("wild dogs", "removal") is troubling.

Lawrence downs tools on road reference group

I researched the purpose of a Community Reference Group. This is what it says: A community reference group (CRG) provides local insights, concerns, and feedback to help organizations and projects understand and address community needs and priorities. We all recognise the great work that many of our Council Staff do, but to label an information giving meeting as a Community Reference Group is misleading. It is such a shame that Douglas Shire Council does not value the feedback, local knowledge and concerns of its community.

Look after your mental health Lawrence.

Richard Lavender

Trying to make a difference and no one was listening, making decisions for you, and offering you lip service. Sounds like mental masturbation.

So in hindsight it’s a good thing (lucky really) the development was axed, as undoubtedly more mum and dad investors would have been scammed.

Paul Chiodo was the driving force behind opposition to the much-needed wave park. Fire-sale this land to someone who has their heart and sole in the future of our beautiful town.
