Many will have noticed the stylish, eye-catching villas along Port Douglas Road. Now complete, Baha Villas marks another successful collaboration between Building Designer developer Nathan Verri and Travis Schumacher of Raine & Horne Port Douglas - Mossman
All villas sold off the plan, reflecting the ongoing success of the Raine & Horne Port Douglas - Mossman and Nathan Verri partnership behind Vivo Villas, Luxe on Amphora, Luna, and Nova Villas.
Melbourne couple George Hallal and Irene De Bono are among the new owners and say they couldn’t be happier with their decision.
George has been visiting Port Douglas on holidays for 30 years. “We finally decided to buy something, more as a semi-retirement,” he said.
Irene added: “We researched Nathan’s previous developments, he has a great reputation, beautiful designs, and excellent reviews.
“The location, the villa size, and the chance to own something really special made it ideal for us.”
Strong demand and design
Mr Schumacher said the villas sold quickly, largely due to Nathan Verri’s strong reputation.
“Buyers trusted that the final product would match the render and the design, thanks to Nathan’s track record with previous projects,” he said
“It’s great to see another very successful development building on our earlier successes.
“Quality homes in this location are still in high demand. We’re seeing many buyers from Victoria and other southern states choosing Port Douglas.
“They want high-quality homes, high standards, and close-to-town locations.”
Building Designer Developer Nathan Verri said Baha Villas offer a fresh, tropical feel.
“These villas are bright, light, and airy. We wanted a development that felt high-end yet economically designed and delivered, with finishes that are timeless,” he said.
“We don’t build anything we wouldn’t be happy living in ourselves. Every detail, from Living zones to bathroom size, has to be functional and enjoyable every day.
“The tones and finishes are second to none, and features like the curves, stone facades, kitchens, and upstairs space all stand out.”
Looking ahead, Mr Verri said the next project, Kaya Villas on Warner Street, offer a similar function but greater features taking the design and luxury to the next level.
The development is set for completion in early 2026, with just one villa remaining.
