Music school shines at annual recital and awards
STUDENT SHOWCASE
The Music with Joanne Trewick school recently held its much-anticipated Recital and Awards event. Over 100 students, from 3-year-olds to adults, took to the stage together, filling the room with music, energy, and fun.
The audience loved songs from Shawn Mendes, Nathan Evans, and Bruno Mars, while the youngest performers from the KinderBeat program stole hearts. Energetic percussion ensembles had everyone tapping along, and the beautiful classical piano pieces from senior students added a touch of elegance to the evening.
New students are always welcome, though some classes for 2026 are already filling up. With a focus on making learning fun, the school is passionate about helping students become lifelong musicians.
