Mossman Show will be a welcome event for many in the community this weekend, after a tough year of natural disasters and the closure of the sugar mill.

There are packed schedules of show categories – including agriculture & horticulture, culinary, needlework, arts and craft, photography, equestrian, cattle, guinea pigs and poultry.

The Mossman and District Show Society says it’s also “excited” with the entertainment line-up for the 2024 show, “and it promises to deliver fun for everyone!”

Monday is a public holiday in Douglas Shire for the Show.

Schedules and programs are available for agriculture, horticulture, culinary, needlework, arts ‘n’ craft, photography, fat cattle, guinea pigs and poultry – and for the overall event itself.

Some Show categories have already closed but a few remain open until the eve of the event, on Saturday 20 July; they are Fat Cattle, Culinary and Horticulture, Floral Art and Agriculture.

More information, schedules and the Show program can be viewed and downloaded at the event website here https://mossmanshow.com.au/home/show-schedule .
