PROPOSED PERMANENT ROAD CLOSURE Attention is directed to an application for Permanent Road Closure of an area of about 1470m2 being part of Mowbray River Road, abutting Lot 3 on SP229627 (locality Mowbray) and shown as Road Proposed to be Permanently Closed (A) on Drawing LAGIS-2316. Comments or objections to the application must be submitted no later than 17 September 2026, in writing to the Department of Natural Resources and Mines, Manufacturing and Regional and Rural Development Robina Office (PO Box 4297, Robina Town Centre QLD 4230) or online at the Queensland Government’s website at ‘Current Road Closure Applications’: https://www.qld.gov.au/environment/land/state/roads. Members of the public interested in the proposed road closure can apply under the Right to Information Act 2009 (RTI Act) to access any comments/objections received. If you lodge comments or an objection, please include in your comments/objection advice whether you would like to be consulted if this issue becomes the subject of an access application under the RTI Act.
