Armed Robbery
A 20-year-old Cooktown woman and a 46-year-old Cooktown woman were arrested after being located by Cooktown Police on April 11.
It will be alleged the pair had been involved in a physical altercation with two other females on Webber Esplanade Cooktown.
It will be further alleged that the pair have then attacked the two females physically, by assaulting them and stealing one of the females phones before leaving the scene.
It is believed that the pair were known to the females.
The pair were arrested a short time later and taken to Cooktown Watchhouse.
The 20-year-old woman was charged with one count of serious assault, one count of armed robbery, two counts of assault occasioning bodily harm domestic violence offence, one count of contravention of police protection notice and one count of assault police.
The 46-year-old woman was charged with one count of assault occasioning bodily harm whilst armed/in company domestic violence offence.
The pair will appear before the Cooktown Magistrates Court on April 30.

Wilful Damage
A 19-year-old Cooktown woman was arrested and charged after being located outside of Cooktown Police Station on April 11.
It will be alleged that the woman has caused damage to the front doors of the Police station by kicking and punching the glass.
The woman was arrested very shortly after.
The woman was charged with two counts of wilful damage of police property and one count of obstruct police.
She will appear before the Cooktown Magistrates Court on April 30.

Serious Assault Police
A 20-year-old Cooktown woman has been arrested on serious assault charges on April 10.
It will be alleged that Police arrived at an address in Cooktown due to a domestic violence incident and were actively investigating that incident.
The 20-year-old female, involved in the incident then assaulted an officer.
The female was transported to Cooktown Watchhouse, where she was charged with three counts of serious assault police officer.
She is scheduled to appear before Cooktown Magistrates Court on April 30.

Drink Drive
A 50-year-old Cooktown man has been charged for drink driving offences on April 9.
Police will allege the male was intercepted on Endeavour Valley Road, Cooktown for a routine breath test and licence check.
The male returned a positive roadside reading and was transported back to Cooktown Police Station for further testing.
It will be alleged the male then returned a BAC reading of 0.063.
The male was also allegedly unlicensed.
The male was charged with one count of drink driving and one count of unlicensed driving and is scheduled to appear before Cooktown Magistrates Court on April 30.
