Miallo School talent show will be "wild"
School News
The Miallo State School M- Factor Talent show is shaping up to be “wild” says organiser Amanda Favier.
To be held on Thursday, August 20 at the school’s undercover area from 11.45am, talent from all levels from Prep to Grade 6 will take the stage.
A total of 27 acts will cover everything from singing and dancing, instrumental acts and comedy.
There’s also karate, drama and gymnastics in the mix.
“It is the first time I have organised the event,’’ Ms Favier said.
“The kids had to go through auditions in Term 2 to make it to finals and they have been rehearsing all term for the event.’’
The annual school event is definitely a highlight on the school calendar, with medals presented to the winning performers.
Open to the school community, parents and family members, there is always a good turn out.
“We have three judges who usually arrive in fancy dress and arrive incognito,’’ Ms Favier said.
“This year, they all are coming from outside of the teaching staff. A parent, and a couple of other important guests from the community.’’
