Police seek help on Mareeba armed robbery

Officers from Mareeba Station the Tablelands Criminal Investigation Branch (CIB) are appealing for public assistance following an incident in Mareeba on February 6.
It will be alleged between 12.30pm and 1.15pm, two men entered a home on Walsh Street and threatened the occupant with a knife.
The men allegedly stole an e-scooter and other personal property, before fleeing on the e-scooter and on foot, heading south on Walsh Street.
On February 7 a 35-year-old Mareeba man was arrested charged with one count each of armed robbery, enter dwelling with intent and obstruct police officer.
He was remanded in custody to appear in the Mareeba Magistrates Court on February 23
Police are appealing for anyone with CCTV or dashcam around 1pm on Walsh Street and Lloyd Street, to come forward.
Investigations are ongoing.
