Adorable little pup saved from remote road at night

A tiny puppy found alone late at night on an outback Hope Vale road about 50km northwest of Cooktown is being cared for by a Far North Queensland animal-rescue agency after being saved by a passerby.
Remote Animal Assistance, which specialises in rescuing dogs in remote FNQ settings, said there was no sign of the dog’s mum or littermates when he was found.
“Thankfully, the person who found him was able to source emergency supplies from a local wildlife carer to keep him safe overnight,” an RAA spokeswoman said.
“He has now made his way into RAA care, where he'll spend the next eight weeks growing stronger before travelling to our rehoming partners in Brisbane.”
The RAA spokeswoman said that caring for such a young puppy was a big commitment.
“Around-the-clock feeds, milk formula, puppy pads, veterinary care, and all the essentials quickly add up, with his care expected to cost around $150 per week.”
