Mossman Show
A host of Mossman Show winners have been announced, including the highest-jumping dog, the best pumpkin name and the cattle judging.
Rip the Belgian malinois was crowned best jumping dog for the second year in a row, while Miallo State School won the best pumpkin name for Sir Squashalot.
Daintree State School won the Giant Atlantic pumpkin contest, while the winner of the Cattle Young Judges award was Daniel Harris.
Sharon Osborne was the Champion Photographer, while the Champion Horse of the Show was Russell Pocket on First Edition.
“Awesome amount of entries," the photography judges commented.
The Champion Fruit Exhibit went to Aelita Moss, while the Champion Artist was Ria Wood.
The Champion Woodwork prize went to Dennis Vintner, while the Grand Champion Bird award went to Tripti Hayen.
Emma Abell won the Champion Culinary Section, while Amanda Connolly produced the Champion Fruit Cake and Samantha Greig won the Champion Sweets section.
Sophie Stalker took out the Grand Champion Guinea Pig, while Joan Gray produced the Champion Flower of the Show.
Christie Mills won the Champion Needlework, while Vicki Dowson produced the Champion Garment.
