POLICE NEWS: Arrest after Cassowary cannabis crop uncovered

A police raid on a Cassowary home yesterday uncovered equipment to produce cannabis plants, Mossman police say.

A 59-year-old Cassowary man was arrested and charged with producing dangerous drugs, possessing dangerous drugs, and possessing anything used in the commission of a crime.

The man is scheduled to appear in the Mossman Magistrates Court on June 17.
