Matilda Wini Heatley has won the Italian women’s soccer title with her club side Roma.

Heatley, of Julatten, celebrated the win in style after Roma’s triumph, posting photos online of herself in the centre of the team celebrations with her hands firmly gripping the trophy.

The Matilda’s official site also celebrated the achievement, commenting on Heatley as one of the “Serie A Femminile Champions”.

“Wini Heatley has been crowned Serie A Champion in her first season with AS Roma,” they stated.

Roma was the runaway victor in the league, sealing top spot by nine points from Inter Milan, with Juventus third.
