Two rescues have taken place north of Daintree in the past 24 hours.

There has been drama in the Daintree and Cooktown today with a rescue following a boat capsizing and a man being trampled by a cow in separate incidents.

A man in his 50s was transported to hospital after being trampled by a cow on a private property in Cooktown.

According to a Queensland Ambulance Service spokesman, the man sustained head, arm and foot injuries after he was trampled on a private property at 6.25am on Friday morning.

He was reportedly in a stable condition.

And overnight Thursday, a helicopter rescue was required after a boat capsized at Forest Creek at 6.17pm on Thursday.

Two people were rescued by helicopter after their boat capsized in the Daintree River.

The two patients were uninjured and were not transported to hospital, Queensland Ambulance Service reported.
