Missing man Ariel Simon, who has been lost in the rainforest at Cow Bay since Monday, has been found alive and well.
Newsport just received confirmation from Queensland police about the reports, which came from at least two people in the area this monring.
The Rainforest Rescue Daintree Native nursery manager, 31, had been missing since Monday, September 7, after entering the bush near Cow Bay.
But reports from the region today said Mr Simon has been found near Bailey’s Creek and is said to be doing OK.
Police launched a search-and-rescue operation in response to reports of the missing 31-year-old man, who is described as Caucasian, about 210cm tall, with a slim build and long blonde hair.
At about 3pm that day police were notified that a man was seen entering bushland near Cape Tribulation Road at around 1.30pm and had not returned.

Police and family had concerns for his welfare as his disappearance was out of character.
