Business Operations Manager – Great Barrier Reef Legacy Port Douglas | 0.7 FTE (3.5 days) | NFP Great Barrier Reef Legacy is seeking a hands-on Business Operations Manager to help shape how our organisation operates as we grow. Through our flagship Forever Reef Project, we are preserving coral biodiversity at an unprecedented scale — housing over 40% of the Great Barrier Reef’s coral species at our state-of-the-art Port Douglas facility. Working with a small but mighty team of passionate conservation leaders, this role brings the business acumen and systems focus needed to strengthen our organisational foundations and support sustainable impact. You’ll work closely with the CEO and team to improve systems, governance, finance, people processes, and day-to-day operations — rolling up your sleeves wherever needed. AIRPORT TRANSFER DRIVERS Exemplar Coaches and Limousines is proud to be the leading airport transfer company in the Cairns-Port Douglas region. We are a family run business operating from Port Douglas since 1993. The majority of Inbound Tour Operators and agents prefer to use our services above others. We also service many local hotels in Port Douglas, Palm Cove and Cairns, and the general public. It is company policy to have a narrow and expert focus on airport transfers only. Exemplar is not distracted with local town shuttles and the personal life disruption that has for drivers. Our drivers can plan their lives around work with set weekly rosters and daily manifests received by 5pm the day before work. If you are a driver already, and want some certainty regarding your daily life, work and pay, think about calling Exemplar. Our head office and depot is located in Craiglie, as such, we currently seek airport transfer drivers who reside in the Port Douglas and Mossman area. These positions are part time permanent with extended hours up to fulltime equivalent if required. Casual roles can also be accommodated. All superannuation and entitlements apply as per the National Employment Standards. Exemplar has a sound reputation as a fair and equitable employer in our region. If you want to be part of our progressive organisation, you must be friendly, people focused, flexible with your hours, well groomed, reliable and have a keen work ethic. Training is provided. You must demonstrate a safe driving record and hold a current Driver's License (LR min) and Qld. Driver's Authorisation (DA). Please note that driver’s must hold these mandatory qualifications before applying. Backpackers need not apply. If you would like to enquire or apply please contact Sam on [email protected] or Cheryl on [email protected] or call 4213 3333 and ask for Sam or Cheryl. | Cheryl Wellham | Exemplar Coaches and Limousines | Craiglie | [email protected] | 12.02.2026 8:00 | |
