Competition this week was on the back nine holes of Brookwater golf course. All teams again scored more than the par of 18points with the winners being Doug and Jamie who won on a countback from league leaders Tim and Peter both on 24 points. Joe and Matt came in third on 23 points. Next week you can leave your drivers at home as we will be playing a par 3 course. Top of the Rock. There was a 4 way tie this week with all teams playing very well around the National Old Course on Melbourne’s Mornington Peninsula. Joe & Matt won the count-back due to a magnificent eagle 2 on the 18th hole. Bad luck to Dave & Rhys, Tim & Peter and John & Peter that all got so close. The yearly race has new leaders as well. All teams did very well again this week as they continue to take apart the golf courses. A massive 29 points was the winning score from Peter Hay and Tim Preen who birdied the last 2 holes to take the CA$H prize from 2 teams a shot behind them. 20.12.25 We had eight shooters today for our Double 700 match. Hot and sunny with a light breeze. F Std: First up was Cameron Leyshon with 60.4 then Nate scored 46.0 followed by Dion on 52.1 up next was Bill Kromwyk with 58.4 and John Brentson on 53.3. Sporter Hunter: Andy Vance started with 50.5 then Tom Baetscher shot 49.6 and Luke C scored 48.4. In the Second Round: F Std: Leyshon hit a 65.6, Kromwyk scored 63.3 then Brentson scored 60.1. Sporter Hunter: Andy Vance shot a 55.8 then Baetscher also scored 55.8 and Luke C closed out the meet with 55.5. 13.12.2025 Seven shooters today joined together on the mound for our 15 shot double 700 match. Conditions again were very hot and sunny with another heavy mirage. From next week we will revert to afternoon shoots. A Christmas BBQ was enjoyed by all at the conclusion of the shoot. F Std: First up was Brendan Delaney getting things underway with 78.2, followed by Cameron Leyshon with 88.3, next up was Rick Mischlewski with 86.5 then John Brentson shot 82.5 and father and son visitors Dillon & Nathan sharing the club rifle shot 45.4 and 4.3 respectively. Sporter Hunter: Tom Baetscher scored 75.10 In the Second Round: F Std: Delaney shot a 84.1, then Leyshon hit a 84.4 up next was Mischlewski with 86.5 then Brentson scored 83.4. Sporter Hunter: Baetscher closed out the meet with 75.6. Competition this week was on the front nine holes of Greywolf Golf course in Canada. All teams played extremely well, and all teams scored over 21 points! An incredible start to the competition. Winners were Lance & Ryan who had 26 points and won on a countback from Ben & Paul and Jay & Nicole.
