11.10.2025 Seven shooters today joined together on the mound for our double 700 match. Conditions were hot and sunny with another heavy mirage clearing later in the shoot. We welcomed visitors Georgia, Cameron's daughter from Brisbane and Dean from Cairns today. Andy Vance also took practice shots with his new rifle. F Std: First up was Cameron Leyshon who shot 59.3 followed by Georgia with 55.2 then Bill Kromwyk with 58.4 next up was Norbert Schmidt with 54.2 then John Brentson shot 56.2 and Dean scored 60.7. Sporter Hunter: Tom Baetscher scored a perfect 50.8 In the Second Round: F Std: Leyshon scored 61.1, Georgia scored 56.1 then Kromwyk hit a 66.5 then Schmidt scored 61.5 followed by Brentson on 61.2 and Dean scored 60.4 Sporter Hunter: Baetscher hit a 55.7 The final results: F std: Bill Kromwyk 124.9 Dean 120.11 Cameron Leyshon 120.4 John Brentson 117.4 Norbert Schmidt 115.7 Georgia 111.3 Sporter Hunter Tom Baetscher 105.15 Next week is a double 300m match, visitors and new members welcome. 4.10.25 F Std: First up was John Brentson with 53.2 then Bill Kromwyk scored 55.3 (using his 308) then changed rifles, 59.3 (using his 223) Sporter Hunter: Tom Baetscher hit a score of 50.5 and new member Luke had some practice shots still sighting in his new rifle and sight. 27.9.25 We had three shooters today for our double 500 match. Sunny and warm with a very heavy mirage. New member Andy was sighting in his new rifle and scope. We had four shooters today for our double 400 match. Sunny and warm with a heavy mirage and shifting breezes.
