08.11.2025 Seven shooters today joined together on the mound for our double 600 match. Conditions again were hot and sunny with another heavy mirage making bulls extremely elusive. We welcomed Dean from Cairns today. Sam also took practice shots and Glen Cannard was sighting in a new rifle. F Std: First up was Brendan Delaney getting things underway with 49.0, then Bill Kromwyk shot 56.3 followed by Cameron Leyshon with 54.0, next up was Dean with 53.0 then John Brentson shot 49.1 Sporter Hunter: Tom Baetscher scored 50.7 and Luke hit a 49.2. In the Second Round: F Std: Delaney shot a 57.1, then Kromwyk hit a 59.0 up next was Leyshon with 61.2 then Dean scored 59.3 followed by Brentson on 58.2. Sporter Hunter: Baetscher hit a 55.6 and Luke closed out the meet with 54.4. 01.11.25 We had six shooters today for our double 500 match. Very hot with clear skies proved challenging for all competitors. We welcomed back Brendan Delaney after working away for a few months. F Std: First up was Brendan Delaney starting with 56.2 then Bill Kromwyk shot 58.3 up next was Cameron Leyshon with 54.5 followed by John Brentson on 53.0 and Andy Vance continued sighting in his rifle. Sporter Hunter: Tom Baetscher shot 50.5 In the Second Round: F Std: Delaney hit a 60.1, Kromwyk scored 63.3 then Leyshon shot 62.3 and Brentson with a 59.1 Sporter Hunter: Baetscher closed out the meet with 55.8 The final results: F std: Bill Kromwyk 121.6 Cameron Leyshon 116.8 Brendan Delaney 116.3 John Brentson 112.1 Andy Vance (no score recorded) Sporter Hunter: Tom Baetscher 110.13 Next week is a double 600m match, visitors and new members welcome.
