GUEST SERVICES AGENT (CASUAL)

Silkari Lagoons is located in tropical Port Douglas and offers a variety of hotel rooms and apartments.
We are looking for an experienced and customer-focused local casual Guest Services Agent to assist with the day-to-day operations of our friendly Front Office team.

Job Tasks and Responsibilities:
Check-in and check-out guests,
Answer incoming calls and attend to guest queries,
Enter data into the system and balance at the end of each shift,
Issue room keys to guests and ensure procedures are followed in relation to guest confidentiality,
Provide friendly, personalised customer service at all times,
Recommend restaurants and places of interest according to guests' needs,
Ensure the smooth running of the reception desk,
Other varied hotel administration tasks


Skills and Experience:
You must be dynamic, passionate, and customer-focused to succeed in this role. As an integral part of delivering exceptional customer service, you will possess:

High attention to detail, self-motivated, and able to work in a team environment, as well as independently,
Strong customer focus, a friendly and polite personality,
Availability to work on a 7-day rotating roster,
A strong work ethic, energetic, a quick learner, and excellent personal presentation,
Be an excellent communicator,
Hotel Front Office and / or Customer Service experience is an advantage but not a prerequisite. Training will be provided.
Experience using a Property Management System is a plus.

Employment Conditions:
You must have full unlimited working rights in Australia.
