CASUAL ON-CALL TRANSFER STAFF Community Funerals is seeking staff to be available on weeknights (4pm-8am) and at weekends (24hrs) to assist with the transfer of deceased persons. Full training will be provided. Staff are rostered on-call one week in three and can usually fit this work around a regular weekday job. You will be paid a daily on-call allowance and a generous $300.00 minimum call out payment. Come and join in our monthly beach clean-up! Help keep this beautiful beach free of marine debris and come and meet like minded people. Registrations are essential - email [email protected] to register your attendance. What shall I bring? Volunteers need to wear enclosed shoes, bring sun/rain protection, and plenty of drinking water (1 to 2 litres is recommended). We try to ensure that all Tangaroa Blue events are free from single-use plastic, so bring along your reusable water bottle. All equipment and drinking water top-ups will be provided. Why is it in the afternoon? Four Mile Beach is shaded in the afternoon making it a cooler time to be out on the beach. Most debris is along the vegetation or tide lines, so the afternoon reduces sun exposure.
