Local Police continue to investigate whether alcohol/drink driving is the potential cause of a two-car collision last night in Port Douglas.

QPS, QAS and a firefighter unit were called to the intersections of Mowbray St, Owen St and Mudlo St at 6pm on Saturday evening to attend to a road incident between a White Amarok and a small black Ford Focus.

One occupant at the scene was later taken to Mossman Hospital and treated for “minor injuries”.
