Having been a fixture of the Mossman community for almost 15 years, Lisa Dwyer, owner of Autopro Mossman, has made the difficult decision to sell her beloved shop following a rough two years.

Despite overcoming tremendous personal challenges, including battling breast cancer, Lisa remains steadfast in her commitment to ensuring the smooth operation of the shop until a suitable buyer emerges.

Ms Dwyer expressed her sincere apologies for any misinformation about her store that may be circulating in the shire.

She cited the challenges posed by COVID-19 and the unfortunate incidents of theft and fraud that occurred while she was receiving treatment as major factors in her decision to sell the business.

"I would like to express my immense gratitude to our loyal customers who have kept us afloat and resisted the temptations of business poachers who travel up daily," she said.

“Thank you for investing your money in our small community, as it has enabled us to keep our doors open after the departure of the greedy ones.”

Legacy continues strong

With the support of her wonderful new staff, who are committed to providing exceptional service, Ms Dwyer is striving to maintain the store's legacy within the community.

“I am deeply grief stricken to see my store as it is now and trying to re-group for my community and keep going and keep the store open to eventually sell the property to a local enthusiast,” she said.

“We are open to discussing deals and offering the best possible prices for this small, independent store. We believe that this is an exceptional opportunity for someone to take ownership of a beloved business and continue its legacy for years to come.”
