It’s one thing to enjoy a movie in the comfort of your own loungeroom, but it’s another to lay outside under the stars taking in a motion picture on a rug by the ocean.

Next month Starlight movies, a company that airs outdoor movies in regional and outback Australia is bringing its large outdoor cinema to the Far North, so, pack the hamper and get ready to enjoy a movie(s) in style with family and friends on Friday and Saturday nights.

Starlight movies will air a movie at Mossman Showgrounds on June 24.

Then, it will bring its large roaming cinema from June 30 until Friday, July 16 to Rex Smeal Park, in Port Douglas.

Starlight movies raises funds for the Kids’ Cancer Council.

A 12-metre screen inclusive of 4K definition projection is sure to provide a great experience for all movie goers.
