The recent Mossman Junior Rugby League AGM saw a fantastic turnout and election of a fresh, new committee that will lead the club into the 2024 season.

New President Daniel Hober is a former Mossman junior and was quick to acknowledge the efforts of and extend his sincere thanks to outgoing president Leif Alvoen who has been a stalwart of the club for many years.

"Amongst other things Leif has been instrumental in securing the upgrade of the junior league field and additions such as the digital scoreboard which provides our home ground with a really professional look and feel," Mr Hober noted.

"Fortunately for us Leif will be staying on in the capacity of home game coordinator."

With a mix of new and returning members to the executive committee the sub-committee also received a boost of members taking on new roles which will bring a wide range of expertise to the table.

The club is now looking to finalise sponsors for 2024 and are seeking expressions of interest for coaches and other support staff.

Anyone with an interest in rugby league is encouraged to get involved and can contact the club for more information by emailing [email protected].
