A 19-year-old Julatten woman driving with an alleged suspended license has been nabbed allegedly driving 41km over the speed limit.

Police said they intercepted the woman travelling at 141km/hr just days ago in an 100km zone area along the Mulligan Highway around 8.30am.

Police said the woman was issued with a traffic infringement notice for high end speeding of more than 40km/h over the limit and fined $1,780.

The woman was issued a notice to appear at the Mareeba Magistrates Court on March 25 for driving a motor vehicle without a driver’s licence.
