An extremely bold and brave Douglas Shire gal has used a contemporary resource in a bid to locate a potential suitor following a chance encounter in a Port Douglas car park.
In a courageous public Facebook post ‘Gemma’ said she was about to drive out of the Port IGA car park earlier today before a young male quickly caught her attention.
Regretful she didn’t’ shoot her shot for a date there and then she soon took to a Port Douglas Faceboook page in a bid to locate the young gentleman in hopes of a future connect.
‘To whoever the attractive young man was in IGA car park with the dark grey ute next to my red car, hit me up boy, you are fine,” Gemma posted just a short time ago.
‘I called out but then I had to go and I regret not taking the time to get out of the car and say 'hi'.
“Willing to embarrass myself in front of the whole community for this.
“Whats the worst that can happen ? He rejects me? I’ll survive.
“It’s 2024, girls can shoot their shot too.”
Gemma’s brave bid quickly struck the hearts of locals with many reaching out to express their support in her bid to locate her ideal man.
“This is how we used to meet people back then, well done to you,” a social media user wrote on Gemma’s post.
“Living for the outcome,” another posted said.
