I saw they have planted corn at Mowbray. Maybe other farms should try that too.

Hi Laurie... heard of the Agrihood town-planning idea to get small housing groups onto its own farm, run by its body corporate.

Hemp is the way to go.

I'd like to know when are all the discarded bins are going to be cleaned up. They salvaged all the under carriages but left the rubbish behind. Isn't it time the council got the place cleaned up. Not having an eyesore as you drive into Mossman.

Community has lost $17m a year, it's a huge loss... now I see former cane farmers poisoning what was going to be 2026's crop. A double whammy for them to deal with.

Should be building a lagoon instead of this.

An extra $20m!! And the rest!!! Would have been so much better spent on good ideas not this farce.

Wangetti is where the military rifle range is for FNQ.
Leith Keegan
Susan Attwood except it's not a military range. It's not even Commonwealth property. There's no Commonwealth Property no trespassing signs which are a common feature of military facilities. A range for military small arms would have to be ten times the size of Wangetti. There's not enough shooting positions, it doesn't have SMR at various distances, etc... it's not big enough to give a battalion a day on the range which might involve zeroing and qualification shoots and the firing of a variety of weapons. When was the last time you saw a military convoy parked at Wangetti rifle range with a shoot taking place? I've been around for over 20 years and have never seen it.

Bit late to the party?

Leaves a rather sour taste in the mouth though.

Ignorance is bliss for some growers. They reckon the government taxpayers will keep propping them up til they die.
Steve Fuller
Very insensitive.
