With Sugar has long been a favourite among Port Douglas locals, the kind of store you wander into for “just a look” and end up finding something you didn’t know you needed. Keep On Dancing
Keep On Dancing has brought a fresh sense of movement and connection to the Douglas Shire. Led by experienced ballroom teacher Jeanfer Salas, the studio offers relaxed, social classes where locals can explore dance in a welcoming, pressure‑free environment.
Jeanfer teaches a mix of Club dance, Ballroom and Latin styles including Salsa, East Coast Swing, Waltz and Foxtrot, helping students build rhythm, confidence and coordination. Classes attract a wide range of ages and backgrounds, with many people joining to unwind after work, improve memory, balance, flexibility or simply enjoy a weekly moment that’s just for them.
Couples often learn together, while individuals find it a fun way to meet new people. The studio’s friendly atmosphere and sense of community keep dancers coming back each week. Jeanfer also offers wedding first dance choreography and is available to perform or host classes in events.
Dance classes are held every Monday 6.00pm for Ballroom & Latin, 7.00pm for Salsa & Bachata and Tuesday at 6.00pm Solo Styling Salsa & Bachata in St. Andrew's Hall , Port Douglas and every Friday at 5.00pm in Buffs Hall, Mossman. Social Dancing happens on the 2nd and 4th Friday of each month at the Pullman Sea Temple Port Douglas.
