Crocs breed a huge amount of babies and one day, whether the locals like it or not, there will be a cull.

Glenise Sharp of which many don't make it past the first year... even crocs will eat them. They self-regulate so numbers will not get to an imbalanced proportion. No culls needed, just education of humans, especially tourists. It's their home and should be respected. This should not still be getting debated.

Learning about how to be Crocwise should be taught in schools. You have that for life then. Education, education, education. Lived there 15 years and adored all the wildlife. I felt extremely privileged to be living amongst those dinosaurs. Just incredible creatures.

Crocs are a drawcard, people moving to Port need to take into account the wildlife before they move up, it’s like moving to Melbourne and getting upset there’s a crack head in st kilda, or moving to Sydney and getting pissed off at a $20 Guinness. Crocs contribute more than influencers on the Gold Coast.

Celebrating them, they are a living dinosaur... isn't that cool!! And sharks same issue. People need to understand we are the problem. They were here before we decided to build houses next to flooding rivers and disappearing coastlines.

You cannot cover big tree roots with bitumen. It happens a lot. A tree that size should have much more space around it NOT covered in bitumen. That tree was there when I worked in Port in 1994. Only a matter of time. I hope the timber is used and not chipped.
