HELPING HAND
Some caring friends and loved ones have bandied together in a bid to make life that little bit more tolerable for a family member who could do with a timely helping hand.
Douglas Shire resident Lisa Watt continues to show great determination and bravery following a series of recent health developments that has left her unable to work.
As such close friends have created a gofundme page to support Ms Watt as she continues to receive ongoing treatment after undergoing a double mastectomy.
Ms Watt will continue to receive chemotherapy treatments over the next few months as well as radiation and immunotherapy treatments for the next five to 10 years.
