Homicide investigation launched after man found with stab wounds
INVESTIGATION
Cairns Police will hold a press conference in the next few minutes in relation to the launch of a homicide investigation following the death of a man in White Rock in the early hours of this morning.
Police said a man in his 60s is helping them with their enquiries after they attended a White Rock address at 1.30am where they found a man in his 50s with alleged stab wounds to his back.
Emergency services treated the man but he was declared deceased soon afterwards. A crime scene was declared and investigations into the matter are ongoing.
