Show lovers from across the district turned out in droves for the Mossman Show on Sunday and Monday.

Although numbers were down on last year, and there was some rain about, show organisers put on a great event, with attendees from across Douglas Shire and beyond enjoying all the fun of the traditional Aussie fair.

The woodchopping was a popular event with the crowds.

The show jumping was held on the main arena.

A wide range of farm animals were on show, including these goats.

Ranger Nick's bush tucker and damper displays and workshops were popular.

Sideshow alley included some colourful highlights.

Horse riders and show rides created an interesting juxtaposition.

A mother and child watch the show jumping together.

Not everyone was laughing along with the clowns.

A range of farm animals were on display, including many varieties of cow.

The pavilion displays had some show goers in awe.

Sideshow alley fans competed to win a range of stuffed toys and other prizes.
