There were plenty of winners named across the night on Friday night at the Port Douglas Football Club 2025 presentation night, but almost none more celebrated than Kye Chapple… for a number of reasons.
Winner of the AFL Cairns Goal of the Year Award, Chapple was the talk of the Crocs presentation night for his work off the field, and out of season, last week asking girlfriend Emelia Rockliff to marry him. Emelia stole the show though, winning Club Person of the Year.
The newly engaged couple joined a strong turn out for the presentation night, where Sam Fairclough and Georgia Walker were also big winners, Sam taking Best and Fairest for the Seniors and the duo jointly awarded the Lea Family Perpetual Trophy.
