A search is underway for a 47-year-old Malanda man who was last seen at Windin Falls on June 7.

Around 6pm on June 8, police and emergency services were called following reports the man did not return home.

A search and rescue operation involving police, State Emergency Service personnel, ATVs and the Rescue 510 helicopter was launched yesterday morning, June 9.

The man was last seen wearing boots, a fluoro orange waterproof jacket, long pants and was carrying a bag.

Anyone with information is urged to contact police.
