From property to people, Jessie Goetze makes a difference
COMMUNITY DRIVEN
BUSINESS FEATURE
For Jessie Goetze, a sales executive with Sotheby’s Queensland, real estate is more than selling homes, it’s about trust, community, and making a meaningful difference in people’s lives.
You can see it the moment you step into her home during her annual Christmas Minis photoshoots, festive sessions she’s been running for eight years.
These annual events reflect her deep ties to the Douglas Shire community, a commitment that extends into every facet of her work.
That sense of care and attention to detail carries over into real estate, where Jessie’s approach is shaped by her long background in photography.
Before returning to full-time property sales in 2023, she ran her own photography business in Brisbane, capturing families and events.
These skills naturally led her into real estate, where she applied professional marketing, photography, and virtual tours to showcase premium properties.
Now a sales executive with Sotheby’s Queensland, Jessie brings the same care and attention to every listing.
“People trust me with one of their most valuable assets, so I treat every property as if it were my own,” she said.
“I answer inquiries straight away, follow up with buyers, and make sure nothing is missed. Trust and honesty are everything.”
Her years as a professional photographer allow her to present homes in ways that highlight both beauty and functionality.
From styled walkthroughs to high-quality visuals, Jessie ensures every listing gets the attention it deserves.
“I do video walkthroughs, edit content, clean, style homes with candles and music, every small detail creates a great experience for buyers,” she said.
Jessie’s commitment to the Douglas Shire extends far beyond real estate.
From supporting the establishment of an Independent School, to advocating for the return of local birthing services nearby, she’s a familiar and trusted face in the community, someone clients know genuinely cares about the place they call home.
Even a story as simple as helping rehome a lost dog, called Ocean, has led to clients trusting her with their homes.
“People approached me to list their house after following Ocean’s story,” she said. “Recognition builds trust.”
Connecting through family
Raising three children while working full-time, Jessie credits parenthood with strengthening her client relationships.
“I’ve sold properties while lying in bed with a newborn and even taken my baby to open homes,” she said.
Her youngest, Sol, has grown up in what she calls the “real estate community.” From just 10 days old, he came along to open homes and client appointments, becoming a regular.
Clients followed his journey from bump to toddler, and because of the genuine relationships Jessie built, many still check in on him and celebrate his milestones.
“Being a parent hasn’t held me back, people see we share similar values, like family and community.
“It’s also taught me patience, empathy, and understanding, qualities that help me connect with families looking to buy or sell their homes.”
Helping families feel at home and earn their trust in life’s big decisions is what drives Jessie Goetze, whether through real estate or her community projects.
